Stay with us at The Meadows during the Wimborne Minster Folk Festival from Thursday 11th to Monday 15th June 2026. Tents, caravans and motorhomes are welcome throughout the weekend on our basic but beautfiul campsite less than a mile from all of the Wimborne Minster Folk Festival and Party in the Paddock action.

About Meadows Campsite

Meadows Campsite is based at The Meadows, Julians Road, Wimborne, Dorset.

Formed over 20 years ago, the campsite is based on 12 acres of working farmland and is the closest campsite to Wimborne Minster Folk Festival and Party in the Paddock, a short shuttle bus journey away (or a 15-minute walk) and less than a mile.

We offer over 100 camping pitches for the weekend as well as affordable day and weekend parking for Wimborne Minster Folk Festival, with a new shuttle bus service on Friday evening, all day Saturday and Sunday to get you to and from the campsite/car park to Wimborne.

The 2026 campsite is now operated by a local small festival, Family Fest, which is also held on the same site annually - the 2026 festival takes place from the 29th to 31st May 2026.

Prices and Bookings

All bookings must be made in advance and can be made via our website. The campsite is only operational for the Wimborne Minster Folk Festival weekend ONLY.

Our 2026 pitch prices are as follows:

 

  • 2 nights (Thu/Fri, Fri/Sat or Sat/Sun) - £75

  • 3 nights (Thu/Fri/Sat or Fri/Sat/Sun) - £110

  • 4 nights (Thu/Fri/Sat/Sun) - £140


Camping pitches are sized as follows:​

  • Tent Pitches: 5m x 5m in size, which must fit in the tent and one vehicle

  • Caravan/Motorhome Pitches: 6m x 6m in size (including awning), which must fit in the the caravan/motorhome and one vehicle

Each booking includes:​

​

  • A pitch for a tent, caravan or motorhome (in the above pitch sizes)

  • Space for a vehicle in the pitch

  • Any 5 people per camping pitch

  • Toilets (temporary event toilets)

  • Access to Showers

  • Food options on site on Friday evening, Saturday and Sunday (extra charge)

Campsite Rules

Entrance into the campsite will be strictly by wristband ONLY, and these will be checked every time you would like to enter the campsite. Please bear this in mind when suggesting friends visit you in the campsite, as they will not be allowed into the campsite without a wristband. Campers only are allowed within the campsite.

Campers may bring in their own food and drink as required, including alcoholic beverages. If drinking alcohol within the campsite, please drink responsibly and sensibly, as this is a family campsite. If you are causing a nuisance you will be asked to leave immediately.

We allow raised BBQs and camping stoves, but we ask people to take responsibility to make sure any equipment they have is in safe working order and that it is used correctly to avoid accidents or fire. Open fires are NOT allowed.
