Local participant and a key part of the Family Fest team, Rhys will step into the ring on Saturday, 21st March 2026 at Bournemouth International Centre (BIC) as part of the Ultra White Collar Boxing event, raising vital funds for Macmillan Cancer Support and Mind.
After weeks of intensive training, Rhys will take part in the charity boxing event alongside other first-time fighters, all coming together to raise awareness and funds for causes they would like to support, which support thousands of people and families across the UK. The evening promises an electric atmosphere with supporters, friends and members of the community gathering to cheer on participants.
Rhys is proudly supported by local sponsors Family Fest, WashWorx, LH Fit and DripFeed Lab, whose contributions are helping make Rhys' fundraising efforts possible.
Speaking ahead of the event, Rhys said: ''Taking part in Ultra White Collar Boxing has been an incredible challenge. It's pushed me mentally and physically, but knowing it's all for Macmillan Cancer Support and Mind makes every bit of the hard work worth it. I'm incredibly grateful for my sponsors and everyone who has supported me so far.''
Macmillan Cancer Support provides essential services to people living with cancer, offering medical, emotional, practical and financial support. Mind works to ensure no one has to face mental health challenges alone, providing advice, information and support across the UK.
Supporters are encouraged to attend the event or contribute to Rhys' fundraising campaign to help make a meaningful difference.
